Things I have grown accustomed to:
Grover caught in between the bed and frame.
A shopping cart in my kitchen.
Footprints on my oven door, fridge, and dishwasher.
Puzzle pieces scattered across the living room floor.
Toys in my bathtub.
Unscheduled nap times.
Imagination at work.
A child always in need of a haircut.
My future.

Those aren't such bad things to get accustomed to, no? The toys everywhere thing gets to me, especially when I step on a sharp plastic object in the middle of the night.

My bathtub looks exactly like that. I'm glad it's not just me.

That looks like our house.

I've stopped looking under my bed for fear of what I'll find under there now. The last time I looked, we found toys we hadn't seen in months. I have no idea HOW they go there either! I know there will come a day when I'll long for the days of toys strewn all over the house.

I am looking forward to the day when I don't have a diaper station in my living room entertainment center.

Precious times. They go by so fast. Wish I could go back for one more day...

Switch out the pink for blue and those could be scenes from my house!! I know I'm going to miss it down the road.

This is such a precious time. Enjoy the joy!

I love how she has to wear so many barrettes in her hair!

Our tub looks like that constantly. Paul gets sick of stepping on things and cleans it up, but then it looks like that again 30 seconds later.
btw, I couldn't comment here earlier - the 'post' and 'preview' buttons were greyed out no matter how many times I came back...weird.

...and all of those things are the stuff you will miss the most in a few years just like me. I'm so glad you are documenting it, there were really not many blogs when mine were little. How lucky Sprite is to see how much her Mommy loved her when she is old enough to read. Sprite, you are one lucky little girl to have a mommy and daddy who love you so much!!!!

Stuff accumulates. Hopefully, Sprite's room will never end up like my daughter's. We just hauled out 21 bags of dirty laundry. She was using the floor as a combination laundry hamper/closet/dresser. Since she's 19 I kinda tried to stay out of it. But in the hopes of putting her puppy in her room instead of the laundry room next to our bedroom, I caved and ventured into the floordrobe.
I also have an award for you but since I appear to be incapable of inserting a link into a comment, you'll have to go to my blog to pick it up. Someday, I will have actual html skills. Someday.

I love it.
I used to be such a neat freak - I think the toddler chaos is actually good for me.
